CMU Board of Trustees to meet Sept. 18-19

The Central Michigan University Board of Trustees meets for committee meetings June 26 in the President's Conference Room.

The Central Michigan University Board of Trustees will meet this week. 

Committee meetings will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 in the President's Conference Room on the third floor of Bovee University Center.

The trustees will be voting on the renovating the culinary nutrition center. They will also be discussing changes to the merit scholarship structure. 

Jonathan Truitt the director of Center for Learning through Games and Simulations will be talking about gaming and learning at CMU.

The committee meeting schedule is:
Enterprise Risk Ad Hoc - 1-1:50 p.m.
Academic and Student Affairs - 2-3 p.m.
Finance and Facilities - 3:05-4:05 p.m.
Trustees-Faculty Liaison - 4:10-5 p.m.
Trustees-Student Liaison - 5:10-6 p.m.

The formal session will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 in the President's Conference Room. Central Michigan Life will livestream the meeting on Facebook and live-tweeting throughout the meeting.

Public comment will be allowed, please review the Policy and Bylaws.

All meetings are open to the public.
