CMU to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. week with various events

Multicultural Academic Student Services will continue an annual tradition in 2020 with a celebration of the legacy and intense civil rights activism of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Throughout the week of Jan. 20, students will unify at a series of events to honor the work of MLK and educate themselves about the importance of diversity.

The best part is seeing people from all over campus and all over the community come together and celebrate everything about this amazing legacy," MASS graduate student Julio Velasco said. "It benefits everyone who participates and there's always a ton of cool stuff you get to learn from it."
