English professor publishes poetry, will read Wednesday

From baseball to nature, music to attending a high school dance with Pepsi breath, Jeffrey Bean wrote about it all.
“Having my own work out in the world, letting people read my work is, in a way letting the work live, so it’s not hidden on a hard drive or in a notebook,” he said. “This is something that’s still so new, so overwhelming.”
Bean will be conducting a reading of his book at 8 p.m. today in Barber Room at Charles V. Park Library.
