I would like to commend the students who are members of the Phoenix Organization for their consideration and concern for the veteran patients in Saginaw. More than 300 valentines were signed and sent to the men and women at the Aleda E. Lutz Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
This was a marvelous way to recognize the week of the National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans.
Thank you for caring, and thanks to Mrs. Plachta for contacting me about the project.
