Program Board sold out Rose Arena when it brought T-Pain to campus a little more than a week ago.
But after such a large show, the group wanted to bring a smaller act to students.
That more intimate show will feature musician Jason Reeves.
"The audience will have more one-on-one time with the artists," said Haley Rank, Marysville senior and Program Board concert chair.
Reeves will perform at 8 p.m. today in Moore Hall's Townsend Kiva. The performance will be about an hour long.
"We're trying to give a variety of music to campus," said Kyle VanDeventer, Saginaw senior and Program Board president.
Reeves is an underground artist who plays Indian music with his acoustic guitar.
"It's a good way to be entertained," VanDeventer said. "It's a change from going to the same things students go to every day."
Rank said she's hoping to fill the Kiva, which holds about 200 people, but are only expecting around 100 in attendance.
"We've gotten a lot of good feedback for people who have heard him," VanDeventer said. "He's really good."
Reeves is one of the many yet-to-be-discovered artists Program Board brings to campus.
Many of these artists cut demos or provide music on the Internet, which is where Rank finds them.
The impressive sound of the music and his voice is what made the Program Board choose Reeves, organizers said.
Free coffee and snacks will be provided to students before the show. The event is free.
In November, Program Board will feature another smaller artist in the Urban Coffee House Show.
