"They just draggle in as faculty submits them, and then I submit them to the bookstore," she said.
Vicki Ebner, Marketing and Hospitality Services Administration executive secretary, said only nine out of 21 faculty completed their orders as of last week.
Half of the faculty in the School of Rehabilitation and Medical Science have submitted their requests, said Jill Ferguson, administrative secretary for the Physical Therapy program.
However, some departments said they have completed most of their work.
Lori Moon, Teacher Education and Professional Development executive secretary, said between 75 and 80 percent of their faculty submitted textbook requests.
Peter Orlik, School of Broadcast and Cinematic Arts director, said his entire department already has submitted their requests.
"We are working on summer now," he said. "We are always far ahead of schedule."
The deadline for the summer semester is March 15, and next fall semester's deadline is April 1.
