By: Daniel Monson

But Zeigler didn't remove him from the program, giving him a second chance to earn his spot back.

"Coaching is a lot more than just Xs and Os and wins and losses. It's about helping young men become successful adults," Zeigler said. "I think Eddie is a prime example of what my job is really about. It's about helping and molding young men."

And to Zeigler, there's nothing more important than doing the right thing.

"He's always focused on us being great men off the court," Minnoy said. "He never lets us slack off. We talk constantly about getting degrees and doing things the right way, whether it's in the classroom, going home, helping your teammates out, or talking to your parents."

"Fail or succeed, I'm going to go about doing this the right way. The right way is having a genuine concern and care about each and every guy that plays for me," Zeigler said. "I think if I can go about doing that way, the other things in terms of wins and losses are going to take care of itself."
