"Juggling school, work and planning hasn't been too bad so far," Bartlett said. "I only have class two days a week so that frees up some time."
For CMU students with upcoming weddings, planning can be stressful on top of classes, work and other commitments.
Bartlett said the couples' parents and her bridesmaids have been a huge help.
Arganbright, who met Bartlett at a His House retreat last fall, proposed four weeks ago. Bartlett said so far the wedding planning has been a joint effort.
"I may have an idea or a suggestion and then Chris and I will talk about it and decide things together," Bartlett said. "We have been setting weekly goals for the part of the wedding we want to plan that week."
With seven months until the wedding, Bartlett said she and Arganbright are not worrying about many little things until next semester.
"The main things we have left to do are choosing decorations for the church and hall and planning the details of the ceremony," she said.
Planning hasn't been as easy for senior Abigail Blok and her fiancé Joshua Davis both of Fremont. Because of conflicts with the reception hall the couple originally had reserved, their July 2008 date had to be pushed back to October.
Davis proposed to Blok in May before leaving for Army training and has had to leave much of the planning to her.
Juggling school, work and planning also has proved difficult for Blok.
"School is pretty much taking up all of my spare time right now and I haven't had the chance to even work much, let alone plan for my wedding," she said.
