Sunday to relax before finals

Fueschie Jones said worship before finals can help relax students.
"There's relief and relaxation when you praise God, especially right before finals." the Mount Pleasant senior and Divine Order president said.
This gospel ministry is hosting its last concert of the semester Sunday in the Bovee University Center Rotunda.
Frank James choir director, said admission is free and people can come dressed as they are.
James said he hopes to pack the Rotunda.
"I believe students should come because it's a place where you can reverence God and lift up his name," James said. "If you come to a place where you can raise your hands in adoration, you will be a new person in Christ."
Jones said the concert is an opportunity for people to experience worship.
"It's a group of young people who love to praise the name of the Lord through song," Jones said.
Lansing freshman and choir member Ryan Menefee said the performance, dubbed "Final Experience," will be the last chance for everyone to get together and worship before finals and the break.
The group will perform around 10 or 14 songs and recognize their graduating senior.
"This is a good opportunity for people to come and enjoy praising the Lord," said Kristie Morris, adviser and Mount Pleasant graduate student. "Even people who don't go to church can come get a glimpse to see how He works."
Morris said people can have fun, socialize and meet other people.
James said it is the Divine Order's tradition to host a concert every semester. Its spring concert will take place in April, he said.
"I believe we will provide a good display of what it means to serve God," Jones said.
