Mythbusters, Jim Breuer head Program Board lineup
Group tries to cater to all students with diverse entertainment

Program Board's lineup for this semester includes everything from Discovery Channel TV stars to stand-up comedians.
The organization is bringing a wide array of acts, including the Mythbusters and comedian Jen Kober this month.
"We try to cater to all students," said Comedian Chair Christa Smalligan. "We want to provide a diverse amount of entertainment to the students."
Smalligan, a Fremont senior, said comedian Jim Breuer is scheduled in February, but the group would like to bring another big-name entertainer around April. She said the idea came after the success of the T-Pain concert last semester.
"We have a list narrowed down that we are working on," Smalligan said.
Crosswell junior Scott Pomeroy has attended many university events in the past, one of his favorites being the Yellowcard concert in April 2006.
"I would like to see them bring in a big comedian," Pomeroy said. "I want to see Stephen Lynch."
Pomeroy said steep prices steer him away from going to events. He said if prices stay reasonable, more students would attend events.
"I would pay up to $30 for a big event," he said. "That sounds like a good price."
Farmington Hills sophomore Maddie Benisatto wanted more big-name musicians after the T-Pain concert last semester.
"I would like to see Young Buc, Jeezy, and if I could see a comedian I want to see Dane Cook," Benisatto said.
Program Board has helped bring names in the past that include Adam Sandler, Bill Nye the Science Guy and Mark Curry.
