These incidents were reported to Mount Pleasant Police as of Sunday:
Simple Assault
Police investigated a simple assault Sunday at Tallgrass Apartments, 1240 E. Broomfield Road. The case will be turned over to the city attorney's office.
Officers arrested a 26-year-old Mount Pleasant man Sunday at Marty's Bar, 123 S. Main St. He was arrested for assault and battery and resisting/obstructing arrest.
Damage to Property
Officers investigated a malicious destruction of property Sunday at 722 W. Broomfield Road. A vehicle door was kicked in.
That same night, officers investigated another malicious destruction of property at Wayside Central, 2000 S. Mission St. The driver's side vent window was broken out.
Police investigated the malicious destruction of a building Sunday at 131 S. Main St. The outer pane of a large double-paned window was smashed.
Larceny-Theft from Motor Vehicle
Police lodged a 45-year-old Mount Pleasant woman Monday for larceny from a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana and illegal possession of a financial transaction device.
