Obama gets free pass from media

In the past three months, the Clinton Machine has been crucified by the press for making fruitless and frivolous attacks on Obama. Do any of these buzz words ring a bell? - cocaine, Muslim, fairy tale, Jesse Jackson, and my personal favorite, kindergarten presidential ambition.

Clinton's undisciplined, blood-thirsty campaign has turned Obama into the "Teflon candidate." Nothing is sticking to this guy.

There is no denying Obama has become the media darling of this election. A study conducted by Media Matters, a press watchdog, shows that Obama receives overwhelmingly positive coverage compared to his rivals.

If the tables were turned and Clinton had "borrowed" language from another politician, the story would be front page news. Clinton has the unfortunate stigma of the stale candidate drowning in Obama's tidal wave momentum.

The Clinton Machine is clinging to straws with all accusations made until they can muster a win. Validity doesn't matter when you are not winning.

Winners get the benefit of the doubt. Losers do not.

The answer is much simpler. Had you watched the entire 6 p.m. news broadcast rather than the first half, you'd have seen the part where, shortly after Clinton called Obama out for the gaffe, Obama called out Clinton for the same thing. (Continued…)

I do not see anything wrong with this. Speechwriters barrow stuff from one another all the time. It's more common than comedians stealing jokes (I barrowed that from ABC news I believe). (Continued…)
