There are reasons lots of good legislation never happens. Hidden in the Higher Education Act (HR 4137) is one provision that brings up privacy concerns. It is a bad idea that would cost universities money and set a bad example for future Internet right cases.

With roads looking as craterous as a lunar surface, students may feel tempted to shrug their shoulders and simply try to avoid the potholes. Yet there is a more proactive solution that requires little additional effort. Drivers need to bring potholes to the city's attention.
