Mach advances to finals in 800-meter run
Junior places sixth in preliminary heat

Junior middle distance runner Abraham Mach is one race away from being CMU's first indoor All-American since 2005.
Mach advanced to the finals of the 800-meter run Friday with a time of 1 minute, 49.26 seconds at the NCAA Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. He finished fourth in his preliminary heat and will run at 6:35 p.m. CST Saturday.
If Mach finishes the race, he will CMU's first indoor All-American since 2005.
