A pilgrimage to Israel

Canceled classes do not guarantee voter turnout
One of the reasons given for low turnout among 18- to 24-year-olds is that they go to college and then aren't able to get an absentee ballot because it's too difficult or aren't able to make it to the polls because they're too busy. Why no Lennox?
I just wanted to state how outraged I was that there was no mention of my favorite fictional CMU student, Dennis Lennox II, in Monday's paper. I've been following the character of Dennis Lennox ever since he was created by Danielle Portteus back in 2005. I just love every episode of his story.
Respect student autonomy
I don't think that because the Campus Conservatives invite a speaker to campus they should expect the university to halt all other operations. Dennis Lennox II suggests that students will then somehow be able to attend, as they wouldn't be able to otherwise.
Lofty goals
It's surprising and flattering that they would even try. Despite all the criticism Central Michigan Life sometimes levels at the Student Government Association, each ticket for president of SGA came for an interview with our editorial board. In the last five years, our pages have endorsed three tickets - all losers.
