Connecting with God
How to explore your religious beliefs
Students will be taught how to connect with God from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday night in Pearce 127. Four speakers from four different aspects of Christianity will present different ways to enrich one's spirituality. The topics being presented are taize, sacraments, rosary and prayer. Each speaker will get about 10 minutes to speak on their subject. "I would say its a good opportunity to learn from someone within a tradition on how to worship God," said Brian Mackie, representative from Campus Religious Leaders Association and event sponsor. "It might be an interesting way to learn, if you don't know how, to connect with God. Maybe you'll find a way to do it." He said people often make outside assumptions on religions without getting all the facts. The event is open to the public.
