De la Garza said traveling with her three teammates should help her battle the nerves of the pressure-filled meet.

"We need to go out there and make a good name for Central," she said. "I'm really excited, especially since I get to go with three other teammates too. It's better than just going by myself."

Espinoza, along with Simon, will be making a return appearance to the regional meet. Simon was injured last season in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and did not finish the all-around competition. Espinoza, who qualified on the floor in 2006, got in with her 9.85 performance at the MAC Championships last Saturday.

As a departing senior, Espinoza is happy to just to have one more chance to compete.

"I'm really excited. It kind of took me by surprise. I didn't even know I was going to go on floor. They double-checked our score and (Reighard) called me Monday morning and told me," Espinoza said. "It's very nice. I'm glad to have the opportunity to finish out like this and I'm looking forward to it."
