If you search sustainability online, a lot of different images will pop up. Most of them are green -- aerial shots of trees, green light bulbs, and cute graphics of wind turbines, bicycles and solar panels.
Too often Central Michigan University students feel like just another face in the crowd. Just another tuition bill. Just one more parking ticket. Just one more mouth to feed with a prepaid meal plan that doesn't deliver.
Two weeks ago the Towers dining hall, The Eatery, temporarily closed due to labor shortages. Since I live in Carey Hall, I didn't have access to food unless I walked to another residential restaurant or spent extra money off campus.
