Women’s soccer player organizes fundraiser for breast cancer awareness


Breast cancer is a disease that affects more than just the thousands of people diagnosed with it. Stephanie Martin lost a mother who always cheered her on when Laura Martin passed away from breast cancer on June 28, 2007 at age 52.

LIFE IN BRIEF: College of Medicine forum today


The latest forum for finalists for the College of Medicine associate dean/student affairs position takes place from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. today in the Bovee University Center Terrace Room C. It will feature Mala Chinoy, professor of biochemistry and molecular biology and professor of pediatrics, at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pa.

The smell of chicken wings filled Finch Fieldhouse Tuesday night.
A crowd of more than 50 people watched 20 students compete in a wing-eating contest.

Trout Hall RA shaved his head for charity


During the month of September, Adam Lucassian, Kevin Birkholz and Travis Gibler, the male Resident Assistants of Trout Hall, were a part of a fundraiser: whoever raised the most money had to shave their head at the end of the month.
