The CMU football team remains on track for a showdown with Northern Illinois in two weeks for the Mid-American Conference West Division title.

After routing Toledo 56-28 Wednesday at Kelly/Shorts Stadium, CMU remains undefeated in the MAC (6-0). Northern Illinois, which beat Ball State last night 26-20, is 5-1 in conference play.

May 2010 commencement for graduate and undergraduate students is moving to Kelly/Shorts Stadium because of renovations and construction taking place at Rose Arena.

University officials decided that Kelly/Short’s 30,295 seats would do well for May 2010’s graduation. But the university needs to have a back up plan in case the weather isn’t cooperative.

Commencement for all undergraduate students in May will be held at 2 p.m. on May 8 in Kelly/Shorts Stadium, according to an e-mail from University Communications sent today.
