Central (16-3-3) plays Purdue (12-5-3) at 5 p.m., with the winner playing the winner of No. 2 seed Notre Dame and IUPUI.
As Freshman Bailey Brandon walked up to the ball as the fifth shooter for CMU, she had the chance to get her team into the Mid-American Conference Tournament Championship.
Brandon took advantage of the opportunity, advancing CMU 4-2 on penalty kicks after a scoreless regulation and two overtimes against Toledo Friday at CMU Soccer Complex.
The CMU soccer team tied Toledo on Sunday at the CMU Soccer Complex after locking up the regular season Mid-American Conference championship on Friday.
