Lack of student participation at open forum shows that student body doesn’t care


Attendance at the SGA forum regarding the presidential search was lackluster. Students had a chance to voice their opinion on what they wanted out of the next university president but refused to show up. it’s the students that will lose out in the long run, and they have no one to blame but themselves.

Students looking for diversity, connection in new president at forum


About 175 students showed up for a chance to speak with the presidential screening committee that was hosted by SGA on Monday night.
Out of that about 80 percent were Student Government Association members.

Presidential search process nets 70 nominees


Central Michigan University is getting closer to finding its new president.
The CMU presidential search committee has 70 individuals nominated for consideration for the university’s next permanent president, said Trustee Stephanie Comai.

Some searches for CMU deans under way this fall, others on hold


Roger Coles is entering his third year in his interim position as dean of the College of Graduate Studies.

By the looks of it, he may be there for a while longer.
