SGA sponsoring workshop to outline how to start an RSO


Tom Idema said he believes students interested in starting a registered student organization may be surprised to find it is not difficult.

The assistant director of Student Life will speak from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Powers Hall Room 136 on how to start an RSO. The Student Government Association, with help from the Growth and Development Committee, will host the meeting.

Campus Conservatives RSO status revoked


Campus Conservatives is unable to meet as a registered student organization because of outstanding debt owed to Central Michigan University, officials from the Office of Student Life said.

Outstanding charges in question are $220 in fees for security for David Horowitz when the conservative speaker appeared on campus Oct. 14, 2008.

Program Board seeks to continue reputation of bringing quality entertainment


Whether it was Demetri Martin, Dane Cook or Johnny Cash, Program Board has been bringing celebrities and big-name acts to CMU for more than 80 years.

In order to bring such acts to Central Michigan University, much work has to be done.
