Flint station WFUM-TV broadcasting WCMU programs


WFUM-TV began broadcasting WMCU-TV programming Jan. 15. The station was purchased by Central Michigan University late last October from the University of Michigan for $1 million.

During tough economic times, CMU needs to spend its money more wisely. Purchasing a $1 million television station is not so intelligent when there’s a crunch for money.
