A Day of Honor
Veteran’s day is over but Central Michigan University will take a few more days to properly honor its Vets. The Park Auditorium will host events Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in support of CMU’s student veterans.
When Women Come Marching Home, will be shown Wednesday night. The documentary follows female veterans as they transition back into civilian life. Women now make up 14% of U.S. military forces and that number is expected to double. The film depicts issues and hardships faced by female veterans during their transition.
The documentary, Where Soldiers Come From, will be shown Thursday night. The film follows a group of men throughout their entire military careers—from teenagers to veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
