Irish Christmas concert to be broadcasted on CMU Public Television

Presented by Central Michigan University Public Radio's "Our Front Porch" series, "Irish Christmas in America: The Show" will be broadcasted at 8 p.m. Dec. 20 on CMU Public Television. The performance was shot at CMU's Plachta Auditorium.

The show is produced by Oisìn Mac Diarmada of the award-winning Irish group, Téada.

Started in 2005, the concert features a variety of guest vocalists and Irish musicians in a "charming performance, rich in history, humor and endless energy."

The "Our Front Porch" series is hosted by John Sheffler and features traditional music concerts recorded throughout central and northern Michigan. For more information, visit wcmu.org.
