Central Michigan University presents Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month event Introduction to Hapkido: The Korean Art of Self-Defense on Thursday, March 21, in the MAC Gym. The event was hosted by CMU Multicultural Academic Student Services and Associate Professor Kevin Fisher led the demonstration. Hapkido is a form of self-defense that involves joint locks, kicks, punches, and different striking attacks.

The four panelists discussed issues of sexism and racism in the medical field, as well as their personal experiences in their own fields.
