Women's basketball to host Preseason WNIT games
After losing to Notre Dame on Friday night in South Bend, Indiana, the Central Michigan women's basketball team will come back to McGuirk Arena to host Preseason Women’s National Invitational Tournament games on Friday and Saturday.
There will be two games played on Friday beginning with Eastern Washington (0-1) against Elon (0-1) at 4:30 p.m.
Following that game, the Chippewas (0-1) will play their home opener against Furman (0-1) at 7 p.m.
The four teams will return to play on Saturday with Central playing at 7 p.m., regardless of Friday's outcome. Furman will play in the 4:30 p.m. game against either Elon or Eastern Washington.
Tickets are $5 for children under 12 or seniors over the age of 55. The cost for adults is $8.
Students are free and season parking passes will be honored.
