Rapid Reaction: Central Michigan 82, Bowling Green 76

After a historic 50-point performance in a victory over Ball State on Saturday, Marcus Keene and the Central Michigan men's basketball team returned to McGuirk Arena Tuesday to face-off against Bowling Green.

The Chippewas (13-7, 3-4 Mid-American Conference) defeated the Falcons 82-76 to win their second straight game MAC game.

It was once again the Keene and Braylon Rayson show Tuesday, as the duo combined for 55 points. Rayson shot 10-of-23 from the field, while Keene shot 7-of-20.

The Chippewas led 42-30 at the half, but saw their lead dwindle down to 5 with a minute remaining. A lay-up by Rayson with 54 seconds left gave CMU some cushion and junior Cecil Williams grabbed a rebound the next possession to send the Chippewas to the free throw line and put the game away.
