Softball picked to finish second in MAC West Preseason Poll
The Mid-American Conference released its preseason poll prediction for softball Monday.
The Chippewas were picked to finish second in the MAC West behind Northern Illinois. Ohio was selected to win the East Division and the MAC Tournament Championship.
CMU finished the 2016 season 24-27-1 and fell to Western Michigan in MAC Tournament. The Chippewas will open the 2017 season against Ohio State on Friday, Feb. 10 at 12:15 p.m. in College Station, Texas.
