Lacrosse falls to Robert Morris 21-6 in second game of season

The Central Michigan lacrosse team lost fell to Robert Morris 21-6 in the second game of the season Feb. 23rd. 

The Chippewas started their season this past Thursday with a 20-10 win against Saint Francis, but are now 1-1 on the season.

After 38 shots on goal, the Chippewas didn’t pull through with the win.

The Chippewas first home game is this upcoming Thursday against Marquette.

Mackenzie Gandy scored five goals for the colonial’s. The Chippewas had Shannon Doyle score three goals to try and lead the team. 

CMU's goalie Dominique Hamman had 15 saves against Robert Morris.

The second half dominance for Robert Morris was unexpected for the CMU as the Buccaneers finished with 38 shots on goal.

After their 1-1 road trip, the Chippewas are ready to come home to play their first game in Mount Pleasant against Marquette Thursday.
