Baseball home opener pushed to Wednesday

The Central Michigan baseball team will have to wait an extra day to play its home opener.

The athletic department announced Monday the game would be pushed from Tuesday to Wednesday, due to the snow fall Sunday night.

The Chippewas take on in-state foe Marygrove at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday at Theunissen Stadium.

CMU returns to Mount Pleasant with a 5-10 record after playing in Tennessee, Texas and Florida to start the season. The Chippewas are 3-7 in road games and 2-3 at neutral sites.
