Louisiana State University will host the Central Michigan football team in the 2021 nonconference schedule.

Along with South Florida and Florida Atlantic University, CMU has three total nonconference games scheduled for the 2021 season.

LSU is a three-time national champion and is currently ranked No. 12 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll as of week three.

This will be the first meeting between the Chippewas and the Tigers in Tiger Stadium.

CMU Director of Athletics Michael Alford praised LSU's fanbase and this opportunity.

“This will be a special trip for our student-athletes, giving them a chance to compete in the heart of SEC country, in one of the finest environments in college football," he said.
