Wrestling to host MAC tournament in 2017-18 season

The Central Michigan wrestling team released the 2017-18 season schedule today.
The Chippewas will host this season’s Mid-American Conference tournament at McGuirk Arena March 3-4. It will be the first time since 2010 that the Chippewas will host the MAC tournament.
The season starts with a CMU scrimmage on Friday, Oct. 27 in McGuirk Arena, followed by trips to tournaments at Michigan State and Eastern Michigan.
CMU host Michigan State in the first dual meet of the 2017-18 season. The Chippewas have dual meets scheduled with Virginia Tech, North Dakota State, South Dakota State, Purdue and Michigan.
The Chippewas will return to the Cliff Keen Invitational in Las Vegas and the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships in December.
