Tinara Moore named MAC West Co-Player of the Week
Central Michigan women's basketball player Tinara Moore has been named Mid American Conference West Division Co-Player of the Week.
This is the second time the senior has received the award this season.
Moore averaged 23 points and 12.5 rebounds in two conference victories over Ohio and Miami (Ohio).
The Southgate native scored 22 points and grabbed 16 boards in a 82-58 on the road versus Ohio, and added another 24 points and 9 rebounds at Miami (OH).
Moore is averaging 17.2 points and 9.2 rebounds in addition to averaging nearly two blocks per game.
Moore and the Chippewas return to action Wednesday to host Bowling Green State at McGuirk Arena.
