Mount Pleasant Police to host 'coffee with a cop' Oct. 16

Mount Pleasant Police Department will be hosting “Coffee with a Cop” from 2-3 p.m on Wednesday, Oct. 16. at Robaire’s Bakery at 1903 S. Mission Street.
Attendees can enjoy free coffee and donuts with representatives from the police department. Officers will answer questions pertaining to law enforcement, community policing and law.
"It was suggested by a citizen to give the community a chance to get to know the officers on a more personal level," said Public Information Officer Autume Balcom. "It's going to humanize the badge and let people know us on a personal level other than police work."
