Claire Ammeraal earns MAC West Setter of the Week

Following a weekend sweep against Northern Illinois University sophomore setter Claire Ammeraal was named Mid-American Conference West Setter of the week. 

Over the the two matches, Ammeraal hit .323 tolling a total of 12 kills, four onFriday and eight on Saturday.

The sophomore hailing from Madison, Wisconsin secured her second double-double of the season with 11 digs and 47 assists. She also recorded two service aces over the weekend. 

With the help of Ammeraal, CMU had one of the best offensive weekends so far this season hitting .258 on Friday and .314 on Saturday.

This is the fourth time in her career as a Chippewas that Ammeraal has earned this honor.
