Art Reach to host murder mystery dinner

Art Reach of Mid Michigan is hosting “A Dance with Death”, a 1950’s themed murder mystery dinner event at 6 p.m. Friday, May 2, in the Community Meeting Room at Mid Michigan College. According to Art Reach's website, a buffet dinner, cash bar and silent auction will accompany the night’s primary entertainment: solving a murder.
Art Reach Marketing Coordinator Jeffrey Silvernail said that the event will act as a fundraiser for the company, using the proceeds to continue providing the various programs at Art Reach.
Slivernail described the event as a "sock hop gone sour," the event is set on a 1950’s prom night, and guests are encouraged to join in on the fun and dress up in their best vintage prom attire, according to Art Reach's website.
General admission tickets include a buffet dinner, cash bar, silent auction and murder mystery dinner theatre.
VIP admission tickets include early admission at 5 p.m., appetizers, two drink tickets, a dance lesson with City Commissioner Amy Perschbacher, social hour with actors, buffet dinner, silent auction and murder mystery dinner theater. The VIP dance lessons will take place during the event.
