Battle of the Local Vocals
The Morey Foundation hosted the Battle of the Local Vocals at the Island Park Arts Pavilion Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Ten artists performed live in front of an audience to win the top prize of $5000. Audience members could vote for one artist they wanted to win, and that was added to the judges' votes on the winners. 75 people were gathered in May and narrowed down to the top 10 through various rounds of judging.
“The talent is beautiful and I say that sincerely,” Emcee Erik Spindler said. “On behalf of the Morey Foundation, I can say we’re pretty dang proud.”
