Inside the Central Michigan University Student Food Pantry's new home

The Central Michigan University Student Food Pantry relocated June 2 and 3, to a new, larger and brighter space in Robinson Hall, 1200 S. Washington St. The pantry serves between 350 and 500 students each week during the academic year, and 100 to 200 students each week during the summer.

Symantha Datillo, interim director of the Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center says the new space will be critical to helping normalize issues such as food insecurity, making it easier for students to ask for help.

Pantry hours are:

Noon to 2 p.m. Monday

5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday

4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday

2 to 5 p.m. Thursday
