The pedestrian struck by the car was 73-year-old Mount Pleasant Resident Linda Hardy. Sgt. Sarah Cuthbertson said the call was received at 1:01PM and that Hardy suffered a head injury as well as a leg injury. "Anytime you get behind a wheel you have a 2,000 pound bullet going down the road," Cuthbertson said. "Just a reminder that people need to be careful."
