With three seconds remaining on the clock, CMU men's basketball looked for an opening to take the lead over Akron going into halftime on Saturday. After guard Anthony Pritchard looks for an open teammate, he finds forward Ugnius Jarusevicius who sends a shot beyond the arc.
After going scoreless for nearly four minutes, Bowling Green’s lead was shrinking, and it needed an answer. That's when sophomore guard/forward Keiryn McGuff knocked down a 3-pointer to start what would become a dominant 14-0 run, taking a 20-point lead into halftime and grabbing complete control of the game.
With three minutes remaining in the game, Central Michigan men's basketball had possession of the ball, trailing Kent State by six after erasing the 15-point deficit the Chippewas had faced at halftime.
