Blood drive to honor 9/11 victims

The American Red Cross is looking for students to donate blood and help save lives Wednesday at Finch Fieldhouse.

Students can make an appointment at www.redcrossblood.org or walk in from noon to 6 p.m. in Finch 110.

All blood drives conducted by the Red Cross this week are being held to honor and remember those affected by the events of Sept. 11, 2001.

To ensure the safety of blood donation for both recipients and donors, all volunteer blood donors must be evaluated to determine their eligibility. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds and be at least 17 years old to donate.
