College of Health Professions in search of new Dean

The Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions is in search of a new dean. Interim Dean Thomas Masterson has held the position since former CHP Dean Christopher D. Ingersoll resigned in January 2014. 

The position is expected to be filled by the end of the academic year.

A committee of 14 individuals, appointed by Executive Vice President and Provost Michael Gealt, have been picked to select the new dean. Linda Perkowski, senior associate dean of faculty and administration for the CMU College of Medicine, will chair the committee according to an Oct. 22 university press release.

Those on the committee include College of Science and Technology director of development Geoff Bartlett, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for CMED Sarah Yonder and Director of CMU's Physical Therapy Program Debbie Silkwood-Sherer.
