April 3

Police were called to Wheeler Hall after a student attempted to jump out a window. The student was taken into protective custody and transported to McLaren Central Michigan. Police petitioned to have the student receive a mental health evaluation. 

A desk worker at Kulhavi Hall found one gram of marijuana near the building entrance. CMU Lt. Cameron Wassman said there was no suspect in the incident. 

April 1

Several foldable signs used by the theater department were stolen around campus. No suspect was identified. The signs had an estimated value of $500. 

March 31

Police were called to Sweeney Hall after hall staff detected the odor of marijuana. A 19-year-old man was found in possession of the drug. The incident was referred to the Office of Student Conduct. 

March 30

A 20-year-old woman passed out in Cobb Hall. Police arrived and attempted to transport the woman via ambulance for medical care. The suspect was uncooperative, and attempted to leave the ambulance several times. She was issued citations for minor in possession and disorderly conduct.

March 29

Parking Services discovered a fraudulent parking permit used on a vehicle in lot 40. Wassman said it appeared a real permit had been scanned and copied with paper. The owner of the vehicle, a 19-year-old man, was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.
