Weekend garage sale extends through Mount Pleasant
Mount Pleasant’s citywide garage sale began on Friday with more than a dozen houses participating.
The garage sale is an all-day event taking place Friday and Saturday. Residents aren't required to register with the city the garage sales.
Mount Pleasant resident, Kim Tollenaere, 39, worked with eight of Grace Church’s families to combine their items for sale.
“We’re hoping to raise money for a building project at Embers Restaurant,” she said. “We choose to do that without any debt, so this is our way of pulling together to do that.”
