Students interested in joining the Peace Corps can attend an information and application session from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Sept. 13 at Charles V. Park Library.

An informational table will be available in the walkway of the library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the same day as the session.

Peace Corps is hiring all majors, according to a press release, to do work in agriculture, health, environment, education, youth and community sectors. Students graduating in May of 2017 who are interested in starting a Peace Corps career are advised to submit an application by Oc.t 1, which will be provided at the session.

Interested students unable to attend the information session can schedule an individual meeting with Michigan recruiter Michael Gall, available by phone: 313-265-9105 or email: mgall@peacecorps.gov.
