Student taken to hospital in ambulance
A Central Michigan University student was taken to the hospital on Monday to treat a medical condition.
Central Michigan Police received a call at 1:23 p.m. from the Dow Science Industrial Complex stating a woman was suffering from a medical issue between Pearce Hall and the Dow Science Complex, said Lt. Cameron Wassman of the Central Michigan University Police Department.
Mobile Medical Rescue arrived soon after, and the 18-year-old female was taken to the McLaren Central Michigan Hospital to be treated, Wassman said.
Wassman could not specify the medical issue because it was not stated in the CMUPD database.
