A Central Michigan University professor will discuss different viewpoints surrounding climate change at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22 in the Charles V. Park Library Auditorium.

The presentation will be given by Thomas Rohrer, a professor in the College of Humanities and Social and Behavioral Sciences and the director of the Great Lakes Institute for Sustainable Systems.

The Office of Study Abroad and CHSBS are sponsoring the event, according to the CMU events page.

Rohrer will discuss the following:

  • What did the review of the Paris climate agreement accomplish?
  • What are European and world attitudes about climate change?
  • Why don’t Americans accept the realities of climate change?
  • Study Abroad opportunities to learn more about European thinking and the broader world view of environmental issues.
