Women's basketball picked to repeat as MAC champions in preseason poll

For the second consecutive season, the Central Michigan women’s basketball team has been selected as the Mid-American Conference champions in the preseason poll.
Released Oct. 25, the poll predicts the Chippewas will win the MAC regular season title and the MAC Tournament.
Last season, CMU won the regular season championship for the first time since 1985 before falling to Western Michigan in the first round of the conference tournament.
Central Michigan finished 23-9 last season and 15-3 in the MAC.
In addition, Junior guard Presley Hudson and senior forward Tinara Moore received preseason All-MAC honors.
